In AD 79, there was a huge volcanic explosion and the Roman city of Pompeii was covered and lost for many centuries. This book tells about the people that lived and died during the explosion and what they went through.

I liked this book because its kind of like the ride that I rode at bush gardens it was called Escape From Pompii.I also liked it because I would like to be a person who discovers things.
