Winner's Walk by Nancy Ruth Patterson

Case Callahan is part of a family of winners. His mother is a stage actor, his dad is a champion horse trainer, and his sister is a star swimmer. There is nothing he can do to keep up with the rest of his family and he is determined to find something wonderful he can do. He tries all sort of things and doesn't succeed until he finds a lost dog. Noah is a special dog and can do a lot of things dogs don't normally do. Case quickly finds a way to become a winner while finding some special friends along the way.

Through these adventures, Edward begins to learn more and more about himself and become more thoughtful to the world around him.

And so it goes, the cookies and the stories keep him alive and the reader will be able to relate each story to different fairy tales that have been told throughout time.
